Bandito Latin Kitchen & Cantina was born from a desire to serve a combination of familiar favorites and inventive dishes in a whole new way — prepared with the best ingredients in a stylish contemporary environment. Locally owned and operated by restaurant veteran, Kent Harman, Bandito opened to much fanfare in June 2017. Conveniently located just a few blocks east of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, the stunning 4,000-square-foot industrial-style space features towering ceilings, 35-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, a bustling open kitchen, wall-mounted light display of red roses is a nod to the classic neon marquees synonymous with the boom of Las Vegas in the 1950s and 60s, and relaxing outdoor patio with views of the fabulous Strip views. Drawing an enthusiastic mix of tourists and locals alike, Bandito is an easy stop for anyone coming from the Las Vegas Convention Center or nearby resorts like the Tuscany Suites & Casino or Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. It also has ample free parking — an important perk for residents seeking an alternative to the rising fees common on the Strip and Downtown.

Every food item at Bandito is crafted with the same care, quality and attention-to-detail as the building itself. The menu has a unique combination of familiar favorites and unexpected surprises to wow first-timers and loyal followers coming back over and over again.

Signature dishes include the Habanero Shrimp, plump and flavorful shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico, topped with Bandito's delicious Habanero Blood Orange sauce that comes served with roasted vegetables and a jalapeno cheese tamale. Order a side of Bandito’s tender carne asada for the perfect Latin Surf & Turf. Another fan favorite are the Braised Octopus Tacos, named one of Las Vegas’ most unique dishes by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The octopus itself is braised for five hours and grilled immediately before being served in three house-made corn tortillas with pickled fennel, watermelon radish, a roasted tomato salsa and garlic confit crema.

Just like the cuisine, every drink is prepared with careful precision and quality ingredients. Bandito’s margaritas are made with limes hand-squeezed daily and sweetened naturally with agave instead of harsh sugary syrups. Don't overlook the Smoking Bandito, made with dark Hornitos Black Barrel Anejo Tequila infused with marinated pork and served with charred pineapples and black salt on the rim. The smoky tableside presentation will have everyone in your party talking about the cocktail long after the last drop is finished.

Through it all, Harman retains a love for promoting entertainment. During late night hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights – Bandito features live music, DJs playing Latin house beats, soul or old-school R&B. The unique combination of food, service and atmosphere can only be truly appreciated in person. This place is Gorgeous! The design and the lighting is awesome. I love the high ceilings and attention to detail. The esthetic was beautiful. Modern with a NOD at traditional Mexican Decor Ala dios de las muertes. The views of the strip are great. Such a good location. The food was delicious and perfect. A great experience all around. Totally want to go back.

Bandito's name says Latin kitchen. It is not a typical Mexican restaurant. It seems they break the mold with what they do--and they do it well.

I came here with my family because we kept seeing their ad on instagram and needless to say we are all glad we visited. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was so cool, the food was delicious, the staff was extremely friendly, AND our waitress was so sweet. I got the Al Pastor tacos and as my side, I chose the Al Pastor potatoes... I'm still thinking about all this food. The dessert we chose, was the cheesecake. I would love to come back again, this restaurant is fairly new and low key, I loved it!!
